Hilton Head Preparatory School - Distinguished Alumni Award Nomination

The Hilton Head Preparatory School Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 2008 to recognize and honor alumni or former students who are noted in their field of endeavor or recognized for their expertise and good works. We celebrate these accomplished role models who inspire today’s students to follow their own pursuit of excellence. Award recipients must meet the following criteria:

· Graduated from or enrolled at May River Academy, Sea Pines Academy or Hilton Head Preparatory School 10 years prior to being nominated.

· Nominees must have distinguished themselves through achievement, service or contributions to society.

· Exhibits leadership, character, and service at work in the community or in civic organizations.

The award is presented annually at the Prep graduation ceremony. Alumnus must be able to attend graduation in order to receive award.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year.

Any individual may nominate a May River Academy, Sea Pines Academy or Hilton Head Preparatory School graduate for this award by submitting the following materials to the Alumni Office:

· A completed nomination form including reasons why the nominee deserves this award along with a list of contributions and achievements in his/her profession and/or within the community; and

· Optional – any materials including newspaper or magazine articles, or publications about the nominee.

This annual award is sponsored by the Hilton Head Preparatory School Alumni Association.
